An applied AI lab for sovereign agentic systems.
We provide the intelligence and infrastructure behind your agents.
Our approach
Built to improve with use.
Standing cognitive systems that learn the business they run — operated as production infrastructure.
In practice
A foundation for your business processes.
Agents take over the everyday work - outbound, support, content, recruiting, research, and back-office - running on the foundation, inside your perimeter, improving with every run.
Outbound & enrichment
Researches, scores, and drafts every inbound reply and outbound touch before a human looks.
Live in productionCustomer support
Triages and resolves tickets to playbook, escalating only the cases that genuinely need a person.
Live in productionContent & social
Drafts, schedules, and ships posts, articles, and the writing on this very site.
Live in productionRecruiting ops
Parses job descriptions, runs Boolean search, and logs every candidate touch automatically.
Live in productionMarket research
Watches the market and the competitive set, then briefs the team every morning.
Live in productionBack-office ops
Email, scheduling, CRM hygiene, and file organization — the busywork, handled.
Live in productionTrusted by teams

They quickly understood our goals, proposed pragmatic solutions, and moved implementation forward with minimal friction. Their responsiveness and domain expertise have improved both our team’s efficiency and the impact of our campaigns.
We run our entire production agent fleet on Trinity - multi-user, scheduled, and audited, all inside our own perimeter. It just runs.
Technology
Intelligence and infrastructure,
released as open source.
Trinity, the runtime, and Cornelius, the cognitive core, ship as one open-source project - free for everyone. Enterprise is the same foundation, plus the governance an organization needs to run it at scale.

Collaborate with us
Three ways in.
For your team · Managed
We build and run it.
We design your cognitive system, run it in production, and keep it improving — you own the agents, the data, and the outcomes.
For builders · Open source
Run it yourself.
Self-host the Apache-2.0 runtime, deploy your own agents, and keep everything inside your perimeter — your data, your keys.
For agencies · Partners
Deliver it to clients.
You handle sales and implementation; we provide the technology, education, and support behind your practice.
Live sessions
We share what we build.
Webinars for leaders, workshops for builders - knowledge, findings, and work, live and on the record.
AI adoption for business leaders — strategy, governance, and what it takes to put agents into production across an enterprise. Built for executives and partners.

What's changing in AI - and what it actually means in production.
What does Ability.ai actually do?
We are an applied AI lab. We build the intelligence and infrastructure behind agents - Cornelius, the cognitive core, and Trinity, the runtime - and release them as open source.
You can run the foundation yourself, have us build and run your agents on it, or deliver it to your own clients as a partner.
What are Trinity and Cornelius?
Trinity is the open-source production runtime your agents live on - governed, audited, scheduled, multi-user, and recoverable, inside your own perimeter.
Cornelius is the self-improving cognitive core: it learns your business, compounds what it knows, and upgrades the rest of the fleet.
Is it really open source? What's the catch?
The whole platform is Apache 2.0 - self-host it, inspect it, extend it, free forever. There is no gated core.
Enterprise is the same foundation plus the governance an organization needs: org management, SSO and RBAC, compliance tooling, data retention, and license management.
Do we own the platform, or are we renting it?
You own it. Sovereign means your data, your logic, your agents, on infrastructure you control - not rented SaaS.
No vendor lock-in - self-host on your own hardware, or have us run it for you and take it in-house whenever you choose.
Can we run it ourselves, or does Ability run it?
Both. Self-host the open-source platform inside your own infrastructure, or have us build your agents, run them in production, and maintain them as your business changes.
Because you own the platform either way, switching from managed to in-house is a decision, not a migration.
How is this different from agents that are built once?
Conventional agents are built once and decay - they never learn your business. Our systems are built to improve with use.
The cognitive core compounds what it learns from every run and upgrades the fleet - under your control, behind approval gates, never on its own.
What happens if an agent makes a mistake?
Every agent follows business rules you approve before deployment, with deterministic guardrails that keep it on your playbook.
All actions are logged with full chain-of-thought transparency - you can see exactly why a decision was made, and review, override, or adjust any action.
How fast do we see value?
Weeks, not quarters. We start with one focused process, put the agent that runs it into production, and grow from there.
Across our production deployments we have documented 70-95% time savings on the work we automate - and outcomes like EV Energy's first response time dropping from a business day to seven minutes.
